Heritage Place Amphitheater
This park was developed with the help of the Conroe Service League in 1986 that consisted of a gazebo, picnic tables and a playground as well as green space. In 2001, Heritage Place underwent a major expansion in response to civic leader’s desire to create a new central space in downtown Conroe. This 2.5 acre public space is capable of accommodating events as diverse as public gardening, crafts and cooking fairs, wedding receptions as well as a venue for outdoor events, festivals, and concerts.
We also utilize the surrounding city streets for several blocks in each direction for our many attractions, shows, and displays.
INDEPENDENCE PARK
Independence Park’s wide open spaces can accommodate public and private special events, ranging from taking the kids out for a fun day out to birthday parties to large festivals and markets. With ample shaded and green space, visitors can stay active and relax with family and friends.
With the addition of an amphitheater, covered stage, replacement and relocation of the playground, enhancements to the existing pavilion, reorientation of the park entrance, and new landscaping, Independence Park is here to provide a fun and relaxing space for all.
